Without a doubt, Black Friday is one of the best times of year to upgrade your gaming PC. Although the actual event lands on November 29, retailers have been stretching out "early" Black Friday sales throughout all of November to capture more buyers. Since Black Friday is only a few weeks away, I would personally recommend waiting until until November 21 or 22 when more deals go live. However if you simply can't wait, there are several good deals here that are worth getting now.

It's roughly 10%-15% faster than the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU and is more comparable to the new RTX 4070 SUPER. This rig is ideal for gaming at up to 1440p resolution at high framerates, although it can also run most games in 4K.

The RTX 4090 is the most powerful GPU on the market. In his RTX 4090 review, Chris Coke writes, "The RTX 4090 may be huge and expensive, but holy smokes if it doesn’t blow the competition out of the water... Until the rest of the pack can catch up, between its impressive hardware specs and its DLSS 3 AI wizardry, even the $1,599 price doesn’t seem unreasonable for the unrivaled frame rates that this card can crank out."
HP Victus RTX 4060 Gaming PC

HP has also discounted its HP Victus gaming PC equipped with the GeForce RTX 4060 GPU for only $799.99 after a $400 instant discount. Lenovo's best Black Friday gaming PC deal
The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 Gen 8 gaming PC featuers an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 CPU, RTX 4070 Super GPUs, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The RTX 4070 Super is the best graphics card for most people; it's not exorbitantly priced, and it's powerful enough to run games at up to 4K resolution (although 1440p is its sweet spot). It's about 10%-15% faster than the 4070 (non-Super). Like all RTX 40 series cards, the RTX 4070 Super supports DLSS 3.0, which gives it an edge in performance over similarly priced AMD GPUs.
Amazon Black Friday Deals.... Are Absent
Amazon's Black Friday Sale hasn't officially begun. In fact, they only just recently announced that their deals will begin in earnest on November 21. As such, they haven't yet pushed any seriously convincing Black Friday deals aside from its Fire TV sticks. As soon as we find any gaming PC deals worth mentioning, we'll update this article.
DIY PC Builders: The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Is Back in Stock
If you're in the process of building out a new gaming PC and you're looking for the best gaming processor, this is it. Right now, the recently released AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D AM5 desktop processor is back in stock at Amazon at its retail price of $479 shipped. This is the official launch price with zero markup, and it's not bundled with anything you don't want or need.
The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is the best gaming processor currently on the market and a much better option than the new Intel Core Ultra 9 285K. If you're waiting for a discount on this processor for Black Friday, though, don't hold your breath. There is the slimmest of slim chances that anyone will drop the price of this hot commodity before 2025.
In our AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D review, Jackie Thomas wrote that "The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is extremely powerful in games, which makes it easier to recommend than other recent processors like the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or Ryzen 9 9900X. Especially if you’re building a rig with a powerful graphics card, the 9800X3D is going to be the best way to get the most performance out of whichever GPU you pair it with.
When Is Black Friday 2024?
The actual date of Black Friday in 2024 falls on November 29 this year, but the deals season will begin a lot sooner than that. Leading up to the big event, retailers will begin to open deals online. This usually starts in the last week of October, just before Halloween. Each week leading up to the event will slowly roll out more deals, which ultimately leads to massive discounts on Black Friday. Retailers will not reveal their biggest Black Friday deals until the big day, but most general deals will be available well in advance.
